LIVE Options Flow

All trade data is received by the Unusual Whales platform LIVE. Due to the sheer volume of options activity that takes place daily it is not feasible for the feed to return every trade live as it occurs.

Users will typically input custom filters, in order to narrow their search. Once filters have been input the Flow Status indicator will display RED, YELLOW, or GREEN.

A RED indicator means that not all trades will be pushed LIVE. Any trades that do not push live can be viewed upon refreshing the page. A YELLOW indicator means that most trades are being pushed LIVE. Any trades that do not push live can be viewed upon refreshing the page. A GREEN indicator means that all trades are being pushed LIVE. During periods of extreme volume (typically at the open and the close) some trades may not be pushed live. These trades can be viewed by refreshing the feed.

The following are base filters that will produce a GREEN indicator. With the ETF and Index emojis DISABLED:

• Size > OI + Minimum Premium of $5000
• Vol > OI + Minimum Premium of $5000
• Minimum premium of $50,000
• Minimum premium of $10,000 + OTM only

When searching for an individual ticker the feed will display the baseline premium value for all trades that will be returned live.
